Pease in a Pod is a fine art company that offers original artwork, fine art reproductions, giclées and other custom services (murals, trompe l’oeil and faux finishes). About the Artist: David Edward Pease was born in San Francisco, California in 1961. He began his artistic career at Otis Parsons Art School in Los Angeles where he put himself through school by re-producing Dali & Ming Dynasty paintings for Charles Hollis Jones Gallery of Beverly Hills. After Otis Parsons he was led back home to San Francisco where he began his career in trompe l’oeil painting, murals, faux finish, and reproduction of high quality Masterpiece paintings. Many projects followed that allowed him to develop his surreal “realism” art which is composed of figurative and landscape paintings. Inspiration for his art comes from nature, dreams and life experiences. David has exhibited in galleries in both Northern & Southern California as well as worked with noted interior designers. Since moving back to Los Angeles he has concentrated on a series of contemporary cityscape and figurative paintings and his own surreal realism rock and roll myth paintings. Pease in a Pod |
